Overwatch by Balenciaga
I made “Overwatch: Balenciaga never die”
chatgpt and midjourney were able to do more than expected
It was a fun time, but I had to invest more time than I expected
I’ll upload the images I used when making the video and the images I couldn’t use unfortunately, so I think it would be nice for friends who enjoyed the video to watch it.
Overwatch is a game I’ve been playing for a long time, and after the recent release of Overwatch 2, I feel that Blizzard is working really hard.
Of course, there may be people who think that it is still lacking, but I think they are doing well when they see new character releases and patches.

Mercy
This was the first result I was satisfied with while creating images with Midjourney.

Reaper
I liked this atmosphere, but I didn’t use it because I couldn’t use the expression.

Pharah
It’s Pharah that made me enjoy projectile heroes. The results were so different and didn’t look like Pharaoh, so I agonized over the various results.
I didn’t use it in the end, but I want to make it again later

Moira
I always didn’t like skins in games, but this result was so satisfying

Mei
one of my favorite heroes
There were results with a more similar atmosphere, but I think I chose this result with a Balenciaga feel.

Junkrat
It’s a far cry from Balenciaga, but I couldn’t help but choose this one.

soldier76
I wanted to make it close to the look in Overwatch 1

genji
It felt like Balenciaga with Genji’s in-game skin well reflected.

Doomfist
I think I’m already pissed off just looking at that expression
It must be because of past PTSD

Cole Cassady
That’s right, McCree was the hardest to make, and I didn’t use it in the end.
His style could never be recreated with a Balenciaga feel

baptiste
Too bad his special goggles didn’t show up properly

Ashe
It was a really, really satisfying work result.
The clothes were also naturally reinterpreted, and I think her external characteristics were well expressed.
Her hair style with only one side of her stretched out or her smoky make-up, etc., seem to be different, but I think she picked out the features that make her instantly recognizable.
And take a good look at the model that follows. If I’m right, I think that friend was also naturally expressed.

Ana Amari
It was really stressful because the desired result didn’t come out, but it was a necessary result because I wanted to use interactive lines with Jack Morrison like in the video.
While working on this, I found it difficult to make special requests on one side of the body in Midjourney (Ana’s one-sided eyepatch, one-sided Baptiste goggles, etc.) If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.
